There are 55 two-page fact sheets available for viewing, downloading (as PDFs), and for printing. These fact sheets are short and concise information summaries for various aspects of shelterbelt agroforestry systems used in the Canadian prairies. The purpose of the fact sheets is to provide quick, evidence-based reference for the establishment, maintenance, growth, carbon sequestration and socio-economics of planted shelterbelts to land owners, farmers, researchers and policy-makers.
We encourage you to read all fact sheets and to contact us with further questions. More in-depth shelterbelt data, analysis and results are provided in our journal articles and book chapters, available at the publications web page.
